Mark Sanders is a founding partner in Q Collective.

With a Bachelor Degree in architectural design, Mark Sanders worked six years as a project designer and manager of large-scale hotels for several firms in Atlanta. Besides working on the planning, design and detailing for these projects, he also managed drawing production teams, established project schedules and ultimately oversaw construction. Mark chose to further advance his design career by earning a Master of Fine Arts in Visual Communication from Virginia Commonwealth University where he focused on interactive design, identity & systems design as well as experimental visualization. It is this combination of experience that makes him uniquely qualified to design, produce and coordinate ambitious projects that exceed their specific goals.

At Q Collective, Mark designs and produces interactive projects, identities, literature systems and promotional items for a diverse group of clients. His interactive design work has been honored by AIGA as well as the IAWMD and has received an American Graphic Design award for identity. Mark has taught identity, systems and publication design at Rutgers University in New Jersey.

In his spare time, Mark developed and contributes to an online cultural studies publication, helps to promote individual artists through design and enjoys making / sending mail art. He is an avid reader, a food lover, a people-watcher, a photographer and has been learning how to play the bass for several years.
